Dr. Eden Miller, DO

Dr. Eden Miller was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. She went to Seattle Pacific University on a track scholarship, where she was four time All-American in track. She was a member of the GTE Academic All-American 3rd team in 1993, and was a NCAA post-graduate scholarship recipient. When deciding where to set up practice, Miller says “I was attracted to the close-knit community of Sisters and the terrific environment in which to raise children. I am happy to be working at High Lakes because, as a practice, we put the patient first. ”
Dr. Miller graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri in 1997. In 2001, she completed her residency at Eastmoreland Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Eden was a board member of the Osteopathic Physician and Surgeon Board of Oregon and past vice-president of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians of Oregon. Her practice is family oriented with a subspecialty in diabetes care. “I focus on diabetes because in medical school I contracted the disease and I am determined to teach patients how to become experts on their own disease.” Eden is also a national lecturer for diabetes treatment and prevention.
Dr. Miller’s hobbies include snowboarding, basketball, anything sports related, her children, and advancing the treatment and knowledge of diabetes care. She also enjoys pitting her gardening skills against Central Oregon’s climate in her greenhouse.
